Walking in stories

We visited Chawton, near Alton, where Jane Austen lived and wrote.

The space is amazing because you can see where the stories came from, you can image. Great place to visit and Cassandras cafe opposite was great for a big bowl of hot soup!

Things to take from visiting a space like this, and reading about an author like this, is that anyone can write, anyone can become world famous, can inspire, you just have to do it.

Imagination is a wonderful gift, don’t waste it!

Abstracts in photography

I have been using the iPhone 6 recently and the camera is much more sensitive. As a result I have ended up with some “abstract” photographs.

I know what they are because I know where they were taken but I am not sure if a viewer would be able to.

I have been painting “abstract expressions” for the past few years and am feeling that the “abstract” is the viewers inability to know the context of the painting, whilst the expression is more clear.

Are these photographs the same but in a different medium? They convey a time, an energy, colour, and movement, like the paintings.

Here are the unedited photographic images. I will be exploring how to develope these over the next few days.
