Artist insite: Nathalie Croquet

Today I saw these images, and the artist, beauty stylist and journalist, Natalie Croquet. I find the images beautiful, interesting, enquiring, and fun!  Fashion is not my realm, but I am drawn to these images. I think they work as colour, props, pose, and compostion, so the spoofs are as attractive as the original campaigns. Continue reading “Artist insite: Nathalie Croquet”

(And thank you for lettingContinue reading “Hasting day out”

Endings for new beginnings

It’s the end of a lovely time! It is great having a studio, having the space to go and work instead ofContinue reading “Endings for new beginnings”

Saturday Addition: In awe of Bas Meeuws

I am in the process of reflecting on my own work, defining where I want to take it, and through this have been looking at my different practises (photography, painting, crafts, and teaching). This has led me to re consider still life as a theme. This is mainly due to the still life observational drawingContinue reading “Saturday Addition: In awe of Bas Meeuws”
